Get Your Team Moving (and Get a Little Wacky)

Want to be a better leader? Help your employees fight off the winter blues!

  1. Keep employees from going stir-crazy by encouraging them to take periodic walk and stretch breaks. Increasing physical activity enhances mood, increases focus and improves blood flow throughout the body (including the brain).
  2. Hire a massage therapist to give 10-minute massages to employees (either free, or for a nominal fee).
  3. Schedule active, wacky, team-building exercises to break the monotony of work and re-energize staff.

2016 ACA Employer Mandate

  • Small businesses with 50-99 full-time equivalent employees (FTE) will need to start insuring workers by 2016.
  • Those with a 100 or more will need to start providing health benefits to at least 95% of their FTE by 2016.
